Slowly but surely, the Nazis introduced more and more laws and regulations that made the lives of Jews more difficult. For instance, Jews could no longer visit parks, cinemas, or non-Jewish shops.
Since you need to provide the visitor’s name while reserving the tickets and need to show your ID while visiting the museum, it’s best to book the tickets yourself in case something goes wrong. If you plan to visit the museum, I advise you to book the tickets once they are available to get the best time slot for your trip. Through the bookcase is the entrance hallway to the hideout. The room that belonged to the Frank family is to the left of here and the room that was occupied by the Pels is up the stairs. The house is an old canal-side property and as such has steep stairs and there’s no elevator to access the upper levels. Anne Frank House tickets can be purchased online strictly via the official website of the museum, and they are normally put on sale every Tuesday, 6 weeks ahead of the day of your intended visit.
Every Tuesday at 10am CET all tickets become available for a visit six weeks later. You can opt for a museum visit or a museum visit with an introductory program. Remember to get some ice cream after visiting the museum. However, you can only take some pictures at the entrance for your memory, without any other visitors in the picture.
